This course deals with the concepts, principles, theories, and techniques of nursing care management for at-risk and sick adult clients in any health care setting who have Acute and Chronic alterations or problems in:
• Nutrition
• Gastro-intestinal function
• Metabolism and endocrine function
• Perception and coordination
The course emphasizes safe, appropriate, and holistic nursing care using the nursing process and evidence-based practice, while integrating legal, ethical, and culturally appropriate communication and documentation.
